The April 10 monthly meeting has been cancelled!

However, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and there are still many things going on that you can participate in.

  • On Monday, April 15, College of DuPage is screening "The Invisible War", with a question and answer session after with Director Kirby Dick
  • Tuesday, April 23 is the Eighth Annual Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Awareness Fair at College DuPage from 10am to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday, April 24 is Denim Day.  In 1992, an Italian court said a rape victim wore very tight jeans, so she must have helped the rapist take them off and it was, therefore, consensual sex, not rape.  Wear jeans on this day to take a stand against victim-blaming, rape, and violence.
  • Contact your state legislators and express your full support for the Marriage Equality Bill in Illinois!
  • Volunteer for the 2013 National NOW Conference and get a special discounted price!  Help with registration, greeting, or transportation by emailing Michelle at glitterspark37@yahoo.com
